PDO threads
A PDO thread lift gently repositions tissues and boosts collagen production with a thread lift. Thread lifts can be used to lift specific areas or to add volume to large areas and make them look more youthful. Over time, the threads dissolve, leaving behind smoother, fresher, younger-looking skin. In addition to being FDA-approved, PDO threads are safe with little or no side effects. The thread lift does not provide as dramatic results as a surgical facelift but can still provide noticeable results. Targeted treatments may help you solve specific problems. With the help of our expert staff, you can make an informed decision regarding thread lifts. At The Aesthetic Lounge, our average clients that undergo a Thread Lift are typically between 30 and 55 years old. The PDO thread lift can be used almost anywhere on the face because of its versatility. These include
- The neck area
- Crow’s feet
- The undereye area
- Marionette lines
- Jowls
- Jawline
- Nasolabial folds
- Eyebrows
- Cheeks
The cheeks and lower face/neck regions are the most common areas to be treated.

This treatment does not require a lot of special aftercare. After your PDO thread lift, however, you should not undergo any dental treatments for two weeks. You can negatively impact your treatment results if you hold your mouth open for an extended period. You’ll want to try to sleep on your back for the first couple of weeks. This will prevent you from putting too much pressure on one side of your face.
